This is the first program available for customers to share the conviction in making beauty a part of everything they do and doing their part to protect the earth, keeping it a beautiful and healthy place for future generations.
Racco Loves Recycling
Recycling is one of the best ways for you to have a positive impact on the world in which we live. Recycling is important to both the natural environment and us. What we do to the Earth we do to ourselves.
Most consumers don’t know but cosmetics packaging are not accepted by recycling companies unless they are taken to special centers. Most cities collect on the curbside a limited variety of materials such as papers, cardboards, soda and water bottles, aerosol containers, aluminum and newspapers. Cosmetic and toiletry containers are not often recycled.
Racco has partnered with Blue Wave Recycling and encourages consumers to return empty bottles of cosmetic products (regardless of brand) in order to keep our environment healthy and beautiful. With every Racco purchase you will receive a pre-paid envelope. Your bottles will be collected by Blue Wave Recycling and taken to special centers for proper recycling.

Some important facts:
• Every year we make enough plastic film to shrink-wrap the state of Texas.
• Americans go through 25 billion plastic bottles every year.
• 26 recycled PET bottles equals a polyester suit. 5 recycled PET bottles make enough fiberfill to stuff a ski jacket.
• In 1988 we used 2 billion pounds of HDPE just to make bottles for household products. That’s about the weight of 90,000 Honda Civics.
• If every American household recycled just one out of every ten HDPE bottles they used, we’d keep 200 million pounds of the plastic out of landfills every year.
